Vortex has no value.

Just checked our local classifieds, there's a pair of SLC's for sale right now for $900.00 in the original box and strap and the winged eyecups as a bonus. Mathematically, it looks like those lost a greater percentage of their retail value when compared with the Razor HD's above.
I'm interested if you'll provide a link, or something where I can contact this seller.

I didn't want to derail the thread earlier, but since that happened anyway I've got a question:

What is the need for a 65mm spotting scope for target archery? How far are you guys shooting? I'm obviously not a target archer and genuinely curious.

dude do you even read whatever others post?
i never paid 2500
never purchased what you linked
1k posts but so far you are missing the mark or giving random answers every time you posted here..ARE YOU A RUSSIAN BOT?
Whatever dude, this thread is swirling the toilet in the pic that Fartrell posted above. Russian Bot, really?

This morning, you replied to Redneck when he asked what Vortex scope you paid $2500 for. You replied with "Vortex Razor HD 22-48x65 Angled" in post #37. I posted proof that not even their MSRP was $2500 (post #39 and 42), and you ignored it all. That's fine you don't think Vortex is worth the money, but doesn't change the fact that you make it sound like you overpaid grossly based upon your responses to our questions.

Welcome to Rokslide, new guy. I'll dip out on this one, cheers all!

jesus, take the wheel or at least take this guys keyboard
post 37 that you mentioned..it was a quote where someone was amazed that I paid 1800 on my swaro gear and I doubled down with "and the dealer also has Swarovski 80HD ATS scope for 2300 including the eye piece with no tax"
I kept saying I paid retail..whatever Vortex has listed on its page
Bots got argumentative now but they still lack critical thinking
DM so I can explain it all over again with shorter phrases

here you go..eye piece was $475 and is on a different receipt I dont have access now but i'll post it later
Why would I spew bs? I'm not a vendor like you are ..I have no skin in the game

I still have a hard time believing you got a dealer thats selling you Swaro at a loss. I'm not a vendor either, just a lowly consumer in this industry, but I do know retail and what some things cost and what kind of discounts you can find on what. I need some EL Range TA's, so why not send your dealer some more business.

Can get a refurb on these at aaoptics for $800 right now
Seems every Vortex goes back for repair, why would anyone think a “fixed” refurb Vortex would be better/last longer? But as long as it comes with the same “rugged” warranty I guess that is all that matters.

Agreed. I just threw that out there to show different ways to find deals vs full retail

You get what you pay for. I love a deal, but I also hate subpar quality. I only buy Zeiss, Swaro, Leica optics after being underwhelmed by Leupold, Vortex, and others over the years.

My Diamondbacks are my beater bino's now. Good enough to bring on the boat fishing (gotta know what the guys around you are catching and what on), to the duck blind or to the golf course...lots of ducks on golf courses this time of year to look at. Might be my turkey bino's too.

Certain members here are obviously very big on “The Hide”. If not, you’re certainly qualified for it. It’s getting hard to have a civil discussion about anything these days.

It sounds like you're more mad that you paid full price for something that some people don't. Selling anything used nowadays is tough. I for one buy them for the warranty coupled with the quality.
Lots of companies offer that same or a similar warranty now.

Title is good, ..
Your title says “No value “ that’s clearly BS.

Can’t wait to see your next post, maybe you’ll slam a perfectly good automobile company, because you handed them a blank check.

It’s been said a fool, and his money will soon be parted.

Maybe a you can learn something about Due-diligence, from your poor experiences.

Well said.

When anyone starts a thread with a title such as this, your inviting a discussion and opinions of others. Don't argue incessantly when you get what you signed up for.
