Changed my post, read it again. Vortex's own website has the thing listed at $1800.00, still nowhere near the $2500 you're trying to tell everyone you paid.

Well it's your fault for paying that much for that optic and it's not Vortex's fault. MAP on it is $1300 so you can get it from many dealers for about $1100 plus tax.

What Swaro dealer is selling products at a loss? I need some EL Range TA's.

FWIW, I have owned almost all of the major brands of optics….. Vortex is one of the GREAT optics brands. Yes, they make lesser quality optics to hit a lower price point…..Damn this original poster has a bad case of sour grapes.

Who goes around trashing a good company when they buy a Moped and expect it to be a KTM?

What you experienced is the same with all manufacturers, cheap optics. So Many guys upgrade that nobody wants that cheap stuff….it gets heavily discounted and there isn’t much of a market for it used. A tiny bit of research and the OP would have known that.

Vortex has a great warranty, good company. They have a variety of low price point optics and they make some really good stuff in their Japanese made UHD line.

Unfair to single them out, TOTAL BULLSHIT REALLY….just because one butthurt guy wants to blame anyone besides himself- < face palm>

I have a couple vortex scopes, I feel you get what you pay for. A cheaper scope is just not the same to look through as a high end scope. Both work just fine, just better clarity in my opinion

Exactly. Higher end scopes will be more clear. My Vortex Scopes, I have several, all track correctly and return to zero. That is all I really need a scope to do. I don't glass with a scope. I just put the crosshair on the target. If I ever upgrade I probably won't go Vortex. I would prefer something more clear/bright. However, for now, the upgrade in dollars to get a little extra brightness won't change my outcome or ability to harvest in the meantime. IMO.

For nocs and spotter I do run alpha level optics. The price differential in this category is worth it in my opinion. No regrets on that platform.

check the classifieds..There has to be ton's of uneducated because most are selling used Vortex above what coaches, 1st responders and their pets etc pay for new.
Based on your logic everyone is uneducated because they cant get swaro glass at the same price as I did.

Most major optics companies have different discount programs that aren't available to the public. Not trying to be rude but seems like the issue is you aren't as great of a bargain hunter as you thought you were. Anytime you pay full retail and then try to sell your taking a hit. You're also on a forum where the prevailing opinion is not very high on vortex which will likely further depress what you recoup if this is where you choose to conduct a sale.
