  • I don’t recall my wife having to sign off on it.
  • Gave me meds which made a little loopy.
  • It throbbed for a day or two at least. At one point, I got concerned but all is well.
  • DO NOT jump on the riding mower when you get back bc you feel fine. It will cause immense pain the next day, I’m told. My buddy did that…
  • DO play up the pain with your wife. However, keep in mind they gave birth to babies. Then again, they don’t have balls, either.
  • A few weeks later, you’ll have to provide a sample to prove you’re shooting blanks. My doc had a couple come in, get the sample cup, go back to the car, and produced his sample together…

just had it done monday. Procedure didnt really hurt much other then when they first numb it up it felt like somone pinched your sack for a second or 2. After that it wasnt bad at all. Pretty sore for 12 hours or so after it (been hit in the balls before and it wasnt as bad as that). iced the first day and took some tylenol. Everything feels fine now except when one of the stiches catches my boxers wrong. All in all it wasnt nearly as bad as i was expecting. if you dont want to buy a jock strap for a one time use get some armachillo bullpen boxer briefs from duluth trading if you dont have some already.

I've been thinking about getting this done. I can tell you right now, if the need my wife's permission they can go straight to hell. My sack, my choice. They didn't ask my permission when my ex got her tubes tied.

Best hundo I've ever spent. The local anesthetic shots were by far the worst of it. Definitely take the pill they prescribe you before hand. Make sure that you don't do anything too active or you'll be in some serious pain. I think post op the only thing I noticed was it felt like the boys were being pulled down for a few days afterwards kinda like someone tied a 5 pound weight to them.

So I had it done back in April. Not a big deal. Up one the table with a gown pulled up. Nurse comes in and rubs EVERYTHING with some alcohol based liquid, which made it super cold, then rubbed something else (not sure what it was) over everything. I remember how warm her hands were the second time. She tapes the little guy to me abdomen, the doc comes in and describes what he will be doing. He pinches around next to the sack and finds what he is looking for. That shot hurt way worse than I was expecting. The shot on the other side was nothing. Not sure what went wrong on the first side, but it was horrible. After that, nothing to it. The doc said to not do the deed for a certain amount of time, I forgot how long it was, but I did not listen to him and paid the price. I figured since the swollen was gone, I was good to go. Nope. Swelled up again and felt like blue balls for the next two weeks. Listen to your doc, fellas.

Guys, I’m telling you, it’s an easy procedure. I am a puss when it comes to stuff like this but it was very easy.

Like I said before in my prior post... if you've already paired with someone, and you've reached the number of offspring that you're good with, you should TOTALLY just get it done.

REMEMBER: Birth-control meds for the women, though they are much better these days, have an increased risk for them to develop a thrombosis (blood clot) which can then dislodge and migrate within the circulatory system, and when that does occasionally happen, it's an extremely serious situation. If that clot ends up getting wedged-in and stuck somewhere in the circulatory system that is vital..... brain.... lungs... heart... irreparable damage or death can occur.

Back when I was young, late 80's into early 90's, a co-worker died of a thrombosis she'd developed as a result of the BC Meds. In her case... the clot migrated and got stuck in a major artery that supplies the lungs, and that was it, that's all she wrote. Bye-bye.

SO... if you are certain you don't want the chance of making a kid, and are in a committed long-term relationship, it's also something you can do to make things safer for your woman, so she doesn't have to take BC Meds anymore.

NOTE : Some women are prescribed BC Meds on purpose. Like if their periods are erratic or unusually heavy. OR, sometimes, if their production of Estrogen is on the high side, and that estrogen leads to a more rapid growth of fibroids in their womb, they might Rx them a BC Med in regard to that issue. Do with that info what you will.

The worst part of the procedure is the needles they use to numb up the boys. Other than that, it’s a walk in the park, other than the smell of them burning the ends of the tubes. Perhaps a shower after work before the operation might’ve helped that!

The worst part is the first week post-op, depending on your lifestyle. I’m a delivery guy for Pepsi, so I work fairly hard, and was back at full duty 9 days later, but made sure I had a helper with me the first few back. Follow the directions from the doctor, and everything should go fine.

I had mine done last year. I got a picture of the portion of tubes they cut out because they left them laying on the tray by me. Was going to post it so y'all future eunuchs could be scared. But I apparently deleted it.

Yeah they cutout a portion, and then fold back on itself the two ends and staple up'em or suture 'em up shut. If they don't... there have been instances where in some folks the two end managed to reach out and reconnect back up with each other!

How'd THAT be for a Mind EFF, Huh? You're all thinking you're in the clear then, Whoops!

Chalk mine up to the nightmare category.

Wifey had complications giving birth to my daughter then again with my son. Doc said if she gives birth again we are rolling the dice so in I go to the nutcracker. Docs been doing this for years they said. 1000's done and count on one hand the mishaps they said. Just do it and shoot blanks to the moon the co-workers said. Upon arrival for procedure doc asks if I mind if a hire prospect at the front desk sit in on the procedure to get the feel of the office. I'm like sure why not? Anyone else want to watch? Popcorn maybe? So there I am laid back in the chair spread eagle. My wife, a nurse, some chick off the street who probly goes to my church and doc rivers. He sticks a needle in the ole bean bag which I tried to play off in front of the gals. Next was the shears. He went for my working side first and I thought maybe the worst was behind me. Sweat started breaking on the brow when he went for my pride and joy; lefty. When he started the snip I felt it immediately and a lump went thru my throat. When I winced the doc asked nervously, " you can feel that??" I mustered a nod and the office prospect gasped and turned a different color. Doc says "I'm half way through I have to finish this." I'd like to see my face at this point. So he shears it off and coterizes and gives me some pain meds to take as well as a script. On the way home I'm thinking man my coworkers really set me up on this one. In my chair I go for the evening with a cold one in hand and on the sack. In the morning I returned to my chair but after a few hours things went south in a hurry. My walnuts turned to Osage oranges and felt like the side of beef rocky was throwing combos on in the freezer. Getting up to leak I must have looked like a cowboy hopping off a hippo. What was once beige and happy was now blue and pissed off. My wife postpartum only 4 months is looking at me like get your lazy ass up and help around here. If I could I would love of my life. Quickly draining my pain meds and oranges turning to a softball the day drags on forever and after asking around realizing this is nowhere normal my wife calls doctor Vinnie Boombatz and schedules a follow up. I waltz in looking like a wolf shat me off a cliff and I'm quickly uttered straight to a waiting room. After nurse clearly recognizes my deteriorated mental state she goes for doc in a hurry. I hear whispers in the hall outside my room. "He's in a lot of pain this doesn't look good." In comes sir chops alot and gives me a shot in the asscheek which put my prick in my watch pocket. He put his arm around me and walked me to the front desk in a surely " don't sue me please " respectful manor and threw a couple refills of meds in for good measure. " take care of this young man. " says doc holiday. No charge yay me.

What a unique pain.

Good luck to those going in. I sincerely hope for the sake of your sack you come out of there in better shape than I did.

@Chape1rm I'm sorry but I laughed entirely too hard at that whole post!

I had one done about 5 months ago after my wife had the 3rd kid. I love those boys but damn I'm good with 3. She went with me to the doctors appointment for the procedure and had to sign a waiver.

Sitting there in the procedure room and it was FRIGID if you catch my drift. My wife was making jokes with the nurses. I asked them when they gave me the 3mg of Versed who took care of me if it made me stop breathing. This lady looks at me and giggles and says "it hasn't happened yet..."

Doc comes in and the first shot was bad but it wasn't horrible. During the procedure the ******* forceps slipped and pulled my vas deferen (the tube that their cutting) I sat up on the table and told him completely serious blitzed out of my mind from the versed "if that happens again I'm beating your eyes out of your head." I was PISSED! Not the smartest thing to say when a guy is holding your sack with a knife but whatever that was the only bad part of the procedure. I had zero pain otherwise throughout the procedure.

Day 1 wasn't bad at home.
Day 2 was a little worse but the frozen peas and carrots definitely helped.
Day 3 I drank Natural Light and moved around some. It wasn't bad but a little swelling and bruising was noted.
I'd do it all over again for sure no questions asked.
