Upgrading from Vortex to Swaro - Why?

Yeah, the 8’s are unreal. I hunt in dark timber that is extremely thick. I swear looking through them it’s like it’s no longer dark and you can see the entire forest. Depth of field too. Amazes me how close and far you can see all at once without dialing. I’ve never looked through the 10’s but I hear they are amazing too.
I actually use an old pair of vortex razor 8’s when I’m hunting timber, the 12’s are fantastic for most situations, timber is not one of them. But they are my go to for scouting and any type of rifle/ glassing intensive hunt

You’re making me want to spend more money. I’ve all but decided on a set of 8.5x42EL’s but you’re making those NL8’s tempting. I just picked up some 14’s and currently use Razor 10’s which are great everywhere except the depth of field.

Meh, guy i grew up with has Swaros. I’ve used em and i’ll keep the jangle in my pocket and stick with my Vipers. For the price difference i just didn’t see enough benefit to justify buying them myself after using them a weekend. If the price difference were negligible i’d probably buy the Swaros.
