I work my ass off in OT to be able to afford their overpriced but really good quality gear. This is just a scum move. Every order I place says 7 or so days with ground delivery. Fine. Theres always some 7 to 10 day delay before it even processes. Beem happening for years. Waiting on 3 pieces currently. Ive spent a lot of money with this company. I asked customer service if they would sell me or send me the second merino glove to replace the one I lost on my Moose hunt. They told me to pound sand. GSI bent over backward to get me a new neoprene sleeve for my halulite solo. I go to redeem my rewards because I see a deal, they obviously dont like that.

Kinda **** you Kuiu and your dirtbag policies.

Anyways, whatre yall up to?

So you are bent because they won’t sell you, or give you, one glove?
Sure, why not. They'll just have to wait until someone else loses the opposite and needs one... :ROFLMAO:

Goolahg, I have no doubt you've spent good, hard earned money. But to them, you're just an average buyer. If you spent 50k or more in gear, or were some social media sensation, then you'd probably get their attention.

I get the being annoyed at orders not processing for 7-10+ days. But if that’s been your consistent experience, then I would expect that of the company, and if I didn’t like that behaviour, I would alter my buying habits to reflect that.

The glove thing though….. beware the meme lords who lurk on this site.

Sitka and First Lite have both taken good care of me with customer service. First Lite even warrantied a rain jacket with no receipt and gave me full store credit to buy whatever I wanted from them.

Did you receive free replacements for products you lost? Or was the great service for damaged goods that you were still in the possession of?

If your SO lost her diamond ring (assumption on my part), would you go to the place that you bought the ring from and demand that they replace it for free since you spent money with them?

The glove was just another data point.

Based on some of the responses in the thread, it just reinforces my point. You have to be rich and be a big spender to get customer service. Thats just a sales account in my opinion.

If companies were capable of dispensing some understanding and compassion occasionally I do actually believe that would be better for their business. You could make the arguement in the short term it may not. A lot of people have short term minds.

Do I think im entitled because of my profession? No. Is it a factor in my frustration, sure is. However I do find that companies arent very willing to change their operations if they dont know people are unhappy. It all just reaks of calling verizon for an issue and being immediately upsold a product. I guess im just looking for an honest rewards system and customer service, not the illusion of that.

No. I mean if it was a pair, id probably ask if I could purchase a singular replacement. That seems like a reasonable ask.

You can just buy the pair of gloves and when you loose one again you will be just right.
I have never had a Kuiu order taken more then three days to get to my door from order placed, I usually get the tracking email the same day its delivering (Granted I'm in California where they are located)

I have a bunch of Kuiu stuff, some of it fairly old. I've had one item fail, and my experience with their CS department was outstanding, they sent me a brand new item with no questions asked. Think I'll go order some more!

Gloves are only sold in pairs. There aren't bins of right-handed gloves and bins of left-handed gloves, with them waiting to see who wants a single glove or maybe 2 rights. These aren't Twix bars.
