Unpopular Opinion on Kuiu?

This seems like a good idea for an offshoot of the Pay it Forward thread. I’m missing one Smartwool sock, midweight, taupe color…let me know if you are too. Maybe we can alternate who gets the full pair through the season?

While I don’t agree with premise of a free glove… I can say that was so less than impressed with Kuiu Inconsistent fit and shoddy workmanship on two pieces of gear that needed warranty replacement that I swore them off awhile back and dumped all the kuiu I had. My CS experience sucked. I don’t miss it in the least.

No. I mean if it was a pair, id probably ask if I could purchase a singular replacement. That seems like a reasonable ask.

Kuiu CS has been outstanding for me. But then again I have only used it for gear I bought and wore out and not gear I lost.

Dude, I am far from rich. But I just tell them what I want, tell them my name, and they just send stuff to me. What are you doing wrong?

There stuff takes a week to get to me the last stuff I ordered 2 weeks ago took about 10 days and when I order something they send an email with tracking but they have not shipped it cause if u track it they say waiting on item from shipper.. and to the op I get where your coming from and can Sympathize with you. I also see where it’s just not Feasible. I also see your point although they may loose a few bucks on that glove they would gain it back with you Continuing to buy there stuff and telling others about how they took care of you. I would bet they have plenty of gloves in a bin somewhere from mistakes etc… although I don’t spend 50 grand with them I have spent about 7 grand over the last 3 years I would hope that they would go the extra mile to keep me happy as long as it’s not something that’s crazy expensive, But if they did not I would understand. 1 last thing it does say you can’t use your 50 dollar reward on something less then 50 I believe.. good luck

I lost a one day old pair of Kuiu gloves that I spent way too much on two years ago. Totally know your pain, and I lost both. No amount of venting or unloading on any company solves your issue, does it help...well maybe? However you feel about Kuiu or their CS is truly irrelevant, because you need to find another pair of gloves and get back after it. It's hunting season man, find the excitement in that and focus on adventure and experience of hunting and not the material things. Nothing about hunting is cheap these days.

I work my ass off in OT to be able to afford their overpriced but really good quality gear. This is just a scum move. Every order I place says 7 or so days with ground delivery. Fine. Theres always some 7 to 10 day delay before it even processes. Beem happening for years. Waiting on 3 pieces currently. Ive spent a lot of money with this company. I asked customer service if they would sell me or send me the second merino glove to replace the one I lost on my Moose hunt. They told me to pound sand. GSI bent over backward to get me a new neoprene sleeve for my halulite solo. I go to redeem my rewards because I see a deal, they obviously dont like that.

Kinda **** you Kuiu and your dirtbag policies.

Anyways, whatre yall up to?

Dude, it’s the busiest time for hunting companies… you can’t wait to the last minute to place an order and blame them it’s not arriving on time, not to mention they had a Labor Day sale that i am sure backed things up.

Try hiring employees right now… it doesn’t matter the industry…

And demanding they send you one glove 🤣 cmon man…

It's all good fun, i get a kick out of these types of threads. There are some that understand flames are hot and leave it alone..........Then you have some that know flames are hot and touch it anyways........
