These are very warm! Mine size large weigh just about 15-16oz. I’ve been very happy with them.

Could these work as a mid layer under a set of bibs?

I’ve gotten my upper body dialed in for stand hunts but my lower body is still cold.

Bibs would have to be pretty baggy/ loose so the down doesn’t get compressed .
I put mine on over my pants when glassing. I’d do it that way too sitting in the stand. Haven’t yet though. I use them sitting in the Turkey blind too. They are warm

I ordered a large and an xl. They have free returns if you're unsure about sizing.

I use these as my solution when I'm going to have a pretty good hike and hang a stand. I wear either kuiu attacks or timberlines with a base layer for the hike and as soon as I climb up I put these over my pants. I wouldn't want to put them under bibs I think they'll get compressed too much. They're not terribly loud, I just avoid swishing my legs together. They're a great alternative to heavy outer layers.
