I have a brake cap on the end of my 416 ruger supressor.I wouldn't waste my time on different flat cap hole diameters but the brake caps definitely work and are nice for some applications.

Source? So it looks like suppressors will be removed from the NFA as of an update a few min ago.
I was watching the Livestream and the democratic amendment to remove the removal of suppressors from the NFA Was voted down. So the bill will remove suppressors from the NFA in its current form. Preliminarily, it looks like they're going to treat it like a serialized part with a background check.
Yeah eventually, but near term be prepared for shortages, no discounts, no sales, massive imbalance between supply and demand. If they truly remove them from NFA, I see no reason why the price of suppressors will not come down significantly. The ability to easily buy and sell on the secondary market, will lower their costs. Huge win if it indeed happens.
not dumb, i personally don’t wait for politicians to make things better, most of the time they have the opposite affect. Many of my friends have been waiting on the hearing act for years so they didn’t overspend on suppressors and mess with the wait times. All the while I’m utilizing my suppressors to great enjoyment. If this NFA news all comes to fruition… guess who’s going to feel $200 stupider for impulse buying a Polo 30 4 weeks ago :-/
Man I’m in the same boat. But as has been mentioned, not stupid at all. I don’t wait on the government to fix problems. If this NFA news all comes to fruition… guess who’s going to feel $200 stupider for impulse buying a Polo 30 4 weeks ago :-/
I expect the secondary market may help. I’m personally thinking of a switch. Before I just figured I was stuck with all of mine. (Not that they couldn’t be sold, but that doing so was too much of a PITA to me.)And, as was already mentioned, if this stays in the bill and gets signed into law, who knows how long it'll take for supply to catch up to the explosion in demand.

Correct. So if this all goes into law, are our NFA trusts now unnecessary if using just for suppressors?
