Yes it is, I’m “Old School” when it comes to firing a new rifle…. Shoot Once & clean for 10rds….Shoot 3 & clean for 5 groups….Shoot 5 & clean for the rest of the total 50….I timed it for my Buddy and it was 4 Hours exactly

I was just curious. It’s all about what give you confidence in your own system. I know I do more than most, but I also apparently do less than others hahaha.

100 Brass formed in 2 days, wasn’t bad at all . My boy did most of the shooting. We gave rifle at least 3 minutes between firing each shot. This rifle shoots extremely well. I’m excited to develop our Killing Recipe

Ran out and put 10 through the new 20" PBB barrel to function check it/the 116's.
Should speed up shortly.

Really like the profile of this barrel. The Hybrid Lite. Rifle without the suppressor cover is right at 9lb. Hoping to upgrade from the Ultra 7 here soon which might drop a few oz.

How bout a pic of loaded round and OAL load to lands with 116 Ole son

Jumped it about 90 thou. Which is mag length and some room to spare.
After S2H and talking to Form he mentioned how he's seen guys try and get as close to the lands as possible and it causes issues in the field.

These TMKs in my very limited experience don't seem to care about a jump. They're like an easy button for load dev.

Anyone seen their new 6 UM barrels speed up?
I'm at about 100 rounds maybe on my new PBB. Getting 3080 in a 20". Think that's just what my powder lot will do or is there a chance at closer to 200 it'll speed up a little?

Not a 6 UM but both 6 creed barrels I have been shooting from PBB started to speed up about 80 or 90 shots in and seemed to settle in around 110-120 shots. Every shot from both barrels was over a chronograph. It was kind of fun to watch them speed up.

Interesting. I've been trying to track it the best I can on a couple barrels and never noticed a "speed up" with the same load and lot of components, except going from new to fireformed brass with the same initial charge there's a measurable increase in velocity, which I attribute to less expansion space in the chamber. If needed, I drop the charge a bit to stay clear of pressure, and none of them have produced faster speeds than I would expect with temp variability for a couple hundred rounds following.
