There is a .76” back end version that is 1.5” in diameter; and a 1” back end version that is 1.62” (IIRC) in diameter- to achieve the exact same volume as the 1.5” version.


1.62” version in a Tikka Varmint I believe.

This rifle was an absolute pike, and a turd in balance with the can the shooter initially used- not sure which but was a 7’ish inch common one. It was WAY better with the OTB can and actually manageable in balance with it.

Any idea when the 1" version will be available?

I find this picture very telling - has the wiser precision quick stix, uses the straps. Seems I was right in my assessment to save my money.

Quiz-stix are something that seem good, but when actually shooting causes torque on the rifle.

I just kept using the soft loop handles, never really saw the need to get the quick stix. But people kept recommending them

I've shot them on a 17” 6UM. Just make sure the reflex won't hit your stock.

In testing, it was sub 132Db at the shooter's ear with .308 20”. It will be an excellent option for hunters who want a short, balanced, suppressed rifle that is hearing-safe.

Yeah the heavier D18 and D20 Tikka barrels with standard cans are front heavy hogs for hunting guns.

Edit: If that’s a varmint I think those are up to 22mm on the barrel (factory lites are 16mm).

It depends on your barrel profile / how clear you are on what you want. IE if you go in with a tikka sporter barrel tell them to thread it to 5/8-24 and don't make your needs clear they might do just that and you'll have no shoulder to tighten a can against. You can have them add a collar to form the shoulder, which is what many folks do, but you'll want to make sure its clear what you need. You want 5/8-24 threads WITH a shoulder once the dust settles.

I'm sure they will. The one I linked above would too I am sure. It works with an AB raptor sporter reflex just fine so zero reason it wouldn't with this.
