ULUL Stainless/Portless 6x45 16" AR15 Barrel Group Buy NOW CLOSED

FYI, I'm taking the family and dog cross country the next 2 weeks, backpacking and camping CO and UT. Will update if I hear from Satern as I'm able.

(Had the kids packing meals and gear tonight)

Mine was delayed in the mail but finally arrived last week while I was out of town. Just ran home from elk camp to get a couple things done around the house. My barrel weighed in at 18.4oz. Just dropped her in and tossed an arbitrary load of 87 vmax over 24 grains of Tac @ 2.290” and fired 10 break in shots. After zeroing the scope I fired a 5 shot group with the final 5. I was shooting kinda quick off my tailgate off a moving blanket piled up so not the greatest setup. About 2-2.5moa but a couple called fliers. I came home and made one of the fired cases into a comparator case and checked lengths. Looks like I was just over .100” jump for the vmax so I will stretch it out to 2.355” next. I will clean and do a bit more break in, then load development. My Rangecraft and all my other shooting gear is up at elk camp so I will do more extensive testing when we are home for good.

Bullet length followed by OAL to lands

95 nbt 1.120” : to lands 2.430”
95 sst 1.118” : to lands 2.386”
90 nbt 1.072” : to lands 2.415”
87 vmax 1.040” : to lands 2.395”

If anyone has good loads to try with the 87 vmax or preferably the 95 nbt, I am all ears. Finding max charges all over the place on the net. I have most of the good 223 or Grendel powders on hand. My preference would be for something like 8208, Tac, Varget but I also have cfe223, Lever, H335, AR Comp, RL15.5, Stabal match, a little Benchmark and maybe a few others.

Update from Satern yesterday:

I just got the barrels rifled. I should have somthing for you here in the next few weeks.

This ends the update. Also, I'm back on the grid so will keep everyone up to date.

Anyone shot theirs much? I put a few through it load testing, but that's it.
