Aargh viewing results ended up voting. I'm tempted to ship it to my cousin and build one when I visit next. Would be a nice packable rifle.

My moq is 50 each of the 16” and 25 each of the 12”.

We’re still low. I really wanted to get these in, but might have to wait. It’s not so much the pre-order numbers, but whether they indicate sufficient follow on sales. I know many people don’t do preorders and others will buy as the niche grows.

Don’t despair, other things are in play…
To clarify: You need 50 - 16" 223 + 50 - 16" 6mm + 25 of both the 12" barrels, a total of 150 barrels to make it happen? Or is that incorrect?

I need to be approaching half the MOQ numbers. I am willing to stock barrels that will sell in a reasonable time. If he would let me buy at half those MOQ I would do it right now.

It’s a funding thing so I don’t have money sitting on the shelf when I could be buying other products and investing in development of new ones.

A portless 15-16 oz 16" stainless 223 barrel should be fairly easy to sell here if you stocked them. I understand not having the spare money to just play around with though. I definitely want one once it happens. It'll be my last piece to being a totally complete ULUL.

add me to the list for a 16" 223

the 18" from BA i have shoots great but definitely front heavy, even with their hanson profile :O

Tag, because I don't know how to keep track of this thread otherwise...
I have a rifle completed (minus the barrel) for my daughter for hunting season. Going to put a 16" 6x45 on it. Its the Tennesee lower with NFA LPK. Bear creek bolt action, and a 23 0z scope. Overall with a 16" barrel I think it will still be a 7lb package. Right now its wearing a 6" 300 blackout barrel while I wait....

The more I think about it, the more I like the thought of a 12” 223 for night/thermal predator set up. Rarely if ever shoot over 300 yards. If farther, that scope has drop solutions anyways.

Just hoping to keep this thread alive. There was some talk on velocities in the other group. I think 2600 is doable with the 16" 6X45 with most of the Moderate weight (85-95/100 gr) bullets. my current loads are 87 v-max at 2650 and 90 gr eldx at 2580. Mag length probably the big limiter. Hoping to get a bear with the 6X45 and get someone excited about a new barrel. Has anyone tried the Druid hill armory factory ammo?
Not the best bullets IMO but the 75 gr or the 85 game king might be good.

I still have it in the works. I got the test barrels about the same time dad went on hospice. A blessing that he’s gone, at 90 he lived a good long one.

Gonna screw a barrel into to my upper and shoot it this weekend. Have a turkey hunt so I will break away to do that.

Yes, planning on the 6 x 45 as well.

Thanks. Very sorry about the loss of your father. May we all live a good long one like that.

Well, just following your Rokslide doings it looks like you're a busy guy. Not to mention extra worries at home. I gotta say, it's pretty cool you guys are willing to put capital into these extra experimental projects. So just saying I appreciate it, even though I'm sure it may not exponentially grow your business.

Thanks! We hope filling niches will grow the business incrementally. It can be profitable for little guys like us to do cool things. And, I really like the cool things we are doing—that helps.

This has been progressing slower than I wanted, but I have it back in the schedule for sure.

Well, I have three of your items, and about 7 on my list I need to buy, so I guess it's working. 😂
