What are y'all doing for slings with a Kaw Valley carbon PCC handguard???
The rifles are so light, I haven’t even wanted a sling. Think of it like carrying a glock around. I have seen @Thegman runs a piece of paracord. You could always drill a hole through the handguard to make a set spot to tie it to.
The Gen2 Solo 300 are sold out. Where are you buying yours from?

Does anyone make a 6mm Arc port less ar15 barrel? If not, what would be the best way to get this made?

Also, what manufacturers have good accuracy with a pencil profile ar15 barrel?
If you go back and read some of the earlier thread, any case larger than a 223 style had hard extraction with the straight pull style. If you are set on one, I got a custom ar barrel from x-caliber in 6x45 but they do offer the arc IIRC. Easy to select “omit gas port”

Most people have seen great accuracy from the faxon pencil barrel.

I'm using a looped, looped flat piece of cord (like the outer sleeve of some paracord) with something tacky on one side, like shoe goo.

You can see it in most of my field pics. The loop cinches against itself under weight and doesn't slip, but is also super easy to adjust, move or remove.

I did this as a stop-gap measure on my first Kaw Valley handguard, but it has worked so well that's all I use now.

Like Taudisio said, a hole (or two for a loop) would be really simple and more permanent if you want that.

Add a couple of these either sewn on or with adjustment sliders and you have a super lightweight sling. I just used a lightweight strap like that I had, from some sort of bag. It's worked so well I've just moved it from rifle to rifle for two years now.. Takes 15 seconds to switch it out. These rifles are so light you really don't need much in the way of a sling as to width or strength.
