So, I went down this rabbit hole a bit. I don’t think a single action would get quite as light as some of those ar’s. But there is the benefit of being more compact per barrel/suppressor length. It is probably more expensive. I’m into mine at least $2400 bucks with the barrels, stocks, etc.
I have a 10 inch 44 mag barrel, an 18 inch smooth bore .410 barrel, a 10 inch 300 blackout barrel, a 20 inch 6 arc barrel, and a custom 17 inch .223 Wylde barrel that just arrived today.
What’s awesome is with stock fully extended and a 9 inch can on the .223 is 41 inches. With the can, scope, spartan mlok, and shell holder, it’s 7 lbs 2 oz.. I could easily cut 20 oz off that by changing the stock and forearm. I’m going to run it as is though and see how I like it before throwing more money into the dumpster.
