2 Tundras still going strong. A 2013 TRD Rock Warrior 175k miles and a 2018 TRD Offroad 106k miles. No issues from either of them.

I will PM you with the details.
I can send you the emails.
The arrogance started before they launched the leaf spring recall and culminated when the 7mm frame holes in the collapsing frame didn't measure 10mm yet and I was afraid to take it off pavement.

I got mine replaced for squeaking, and you’re the only person I’ve heard scream about Toyota warranty.

They repainted the my mom’s 15 year old rig for free when the paint flaked.

My ford was the biggest pile of crap and they did everything that they could to not pay a single warranty claim. Which is pretty typical for the big 3.

I have a 2001 3.4L with 5 speed in it. Had it over a decade and still running strong (knock on wood). Rolled over 289,000 the other day. It has had water pump, alternator, clutch, and front end suspension. Never had a lot of power, but she starts and gets me from A to B. AND it's worth more than I paid for it. Crazy!

My friend has an '08 with 275k, another friend has an '07 with 330k on it. I have a '12 with 125k and plan on running it another 5 years then pass it to my son.

I need to replace the alternator in my 1989 Toyota. Looking through my maintenance book, looks like the last time I replaced it was 1999......26 years ago. I can only hope that my 2016 Tundra is even half as reliable as that 36 year old 4x4 has been.

I test drove a 2018 SR5 double cab w/ 97k miles and a 2017 crewmax TRD with 66k on Tuesday. Leaning toward the crew max but it’s $5k more. I like the 6 1/2’ bed on the 18’ but with two kids the interior room on the crewmax is pretty nice despite only a 5 1/2’ bed. Decisions…decisions…

Lucky. My Tacoma has some paint oxidation on the door frame. I tried to get them to cover it but they wouldn’t.

Incorrect. I have never said you were the only one with the issue and you said you were responsible for the recall(s).

I dont need reciepts🤦‍♂️,not opening that can of worms...Maybe you dealt with a shitty dealer, they do exist even in the Toyota world.
I've heard of no such issues from any of the numerous customers that we sent back to Toyota for replacements when we noted frame rot issues when they were on for other work.
Some of those vehicles still coming in for routine work.
Either way, the moral of the story is there was an issue with frames and Toyota stood behind their product better and longer than any other auto manufacturer I've ever seen. However there was a class action suite that played into that whole mess too.
I doubt they would be the as generous today unfortunately in a similar situation, however they are eating alot of warranty/recalled 3.4l twin turbo engines.

Assuming you quoted the wrong person?

You are a smart man.
Yeah...Im not so sure about that either.
I mean, I manage to stay off the Ole FaceLife for most part, don't tik or tok or tweet or any of that stuff...but I keep coming back here in search of ways to complicate my life apparently...and I still work on cars and deal with the general public for a living... so I'm not sure "smart" is an adjective I'd use to describe myself...but thanks...i think😬
