Redneck is the way, always
I have seen some similar to this and I thought about going this route. To me wooden plaques...even more so the ones behind shoulder mounts look "redneck"...more trailer trash actually. Add a couple deer legs under for a gun rack and congratulations to you and your sister on the baby.
Here is a euro display I made...I change skulls ever now and then to change it up a bit...I currently have a different skull on top.

I have seen them hung on barn wood or reclaimed wood and that looks pretty dang good also. What about a piece of barn wood.
Cool table!Redneck is the way to go! Threw this one together in about 10 minutes. Like said above, can always change it.

Did you paint the antlers or were they that dark?I like it, I did something similar with my son’s first deer. But then again, I’m probably pretty redneck lol.

Right? You are hanging a deer skull in your house and you're worried about being too redneck?
Mine are mounted like that on a gnarled old tree section that was behind my stand area where most of the deer on it were killed, now if you want redneck string some twinkle Christmas lights around the limb and skulls and a few neatly placed empty beer cans on a few tines and perhaps a slim Jim wrapper or two in a eye socket always screams West Virginia too me. That’s about as red neck as ya can get.So I would like to display some euro muley deer heads in the living room. I was wanting to use a tree branch but almost think it's a little redneck now. Tree branch in pic is unfinished but would save me $ for diy. What do you all think? I've seen some mounts on the wall placed on driftwood and I almost think that looks better.
Now that looks cool! I'm also think of doing a double like that on a bigger piece of wood.definitely not to redneck. looks good to me.
I also did some with driftwood, really like the way they look too.
