I would have zero problems sitting in a saddle in that tree.
A bit skylined to a point but would not sway me from hunting it at all.
I have found that the saddle works in a lot of places that a normal lock on does not.
Hunted one tree last year on a field edge that was probably at best 8" in Dia. where my platform was set.
Worked just fine.
So if there are smaller trees there could try that.
Another option might be a ground blind at the base of the trees in the middle of them. That could work well also and might open up some easier hunting.
