Tikka Prefit and 280ai

How limiting is the magazine length with .160 of freebore (saami) if I wanted to run 150 barnes in a tikka with factory mags? Did anyone run into an issue with 150 accubonds? I'm not interested in running the super high weight high bc bullets. Thanks!

162 ELDM at mag length (with reliable feeding) end up roughly 35 thou off the lands in my sammi chamber. It should be a non-factor for what you're wanting to do.

What’s the longest bullet that works in the Tikka mag reliably? I’m glad to hear the 162 works, that was the bullet I was looking at.

I have been considering an 18” 280AI tikka.
