The time she is a coming

Predator season is coming up. I’m curious if any of you guys have started calling yet?

I know it’s elk and what not but predators are my first love and I always end up thinking of areas in how I would call them first. I haven’t been out, maybe this week for an evening or two if things work out.

Getting everything dialed in, and ready, went and zeroed the night scope and made up about 750 or so rounds this weekend. Getting anxious to get out, almost went Sunday night but the farmer hadn't talked to the neighbor's yet.

We called 4 in but it was south Wyoming. Hit my speaker with his paw so yea they are coming hard.

We’ve been out every weekend all summer. The coyotes are finally starting to be a little more active in the last couple weeks. Three weeks ago we got one in the first ten minutes. Jerked the trigger last night and missed one, but we saw 9 more just a little too far to shoot at. If we knew how to run the caller a little better I think the numbers would be way up, but we’re learning as we go
