The Shoot2hunt Podcast

Don’t burst my bubble. Finally going to shoot that thing this weekend at Ha Ha. Tikka 6UM, Rokstok, SWFA 3x9 sitting in Nightforce rings, with some kind of suppressor with a Recoil X.
If you're going to HAHA would you be willing get some footage of shooting the 6UM30 compared to a 6.5 PRC (assuming they have one there)?

I had planned to go but coming from the Southeast I could just buy another rifle setup for the cost of the trip.

Seems like more often than not there's a major problem with the podcast that necessitates pulling it and re-uploading.

I obviously don't know how their workflow is, but I have a checklist I run through before I hit upload or send on any deliverables to avoid simple mistakes like uploading the wrong file or uploading in mono, etc.
Same, I'm an audio eng both music and podcast, was full-time and now just do it on the side and its been agonizing as of late listening to their podcasts, the episode posting flow across multiple platforms, audio quality, etc. I occasionally message Jake about it. Would love to help but not in the area.

Excited to feel the magic! Come on Rokstok.
I wish they made a Rokstok lite with an adjustable comb. After using rifle stocks and chassis with an adjustable comb, I’d never choose to not have one. Everyone can make it perfect for themselves and their equipment.

I really don’t think that the sound quality is the issue.

Shooting one for the first time isn't a life-changing experience.

However, after you use it for a while, get used to it, and it becomes your norm - then going back to other stocks feels foreign and awkward. That's when you really appreciate it's design and how natural it feels to shoot.

My Magic comment was tongue in cheek. After shooting several stocks, Stockys VG, KRG Echo, XLR mg, Hnt 26, Magpul, Tikka, Foundation MG 2, to name a few, I have not found the perfect stock and probably never will. On paper the Rokstok checks a lot of boxes, looking forward to shooting it.

I will second this. The rokstok is kinda weird the first time, then you get used to it and shoot it more and more and then after while if you go back to a traditional stock you will realize how bad they traditional stock feels.

Ditto. I was surprised how quickly I lost patience with sloped toe stocks. I will still build on the occasional p44 Bastion for customers who don't have time to wait for a RS, or demand lighter weight, or can't deal with RS aesthetics, but I don't shoot them myself anymore.

That's really the only thing i'm not a big fan off. I have the taller sportsmatch 30mm rings on one rifle and the UM high on another and I dislike the comb more the lower the rings are. I think i'd really dislike it if I were a more firm cheek weld guy.

Shooting a bravo back and forth with a rokstok, i significantly prefer the comb on the bravo.
