Chamber pressure is not felt at the shoulder. As many here have correctly stated, the total mass and velocity of the projectile and powder (relative to the mass of the total closed system) are solely responsible for felt recoil.

20k psi higher chamber pressure will likely be higher muzzle pressures right? More muzzle pressure will be added recoil.

I posted actual #'s from recoil calculator earlier in this thread. No idea what actual charge weight would be for the 7BC, likely higher than 55 so the gap may not be that significant but it paints the picture of charge weight impact on recoil.

On the 7 Backcountry episode it was indicated multiple times that a bullet at a given velocity = recoil. Statements seemed to be discarding claims that a 7 BC would offer less recoil than a traditional 62-65k PSI round that burns more powder to get same velocity. That stance ignores powder charge weight @Unknown Munitions . If a round is burning less powder to push the same bullet at the same velocity, recoil energy is going to be less because there is less weight of powder being pushed out the front of the barrel. Every recoil calculator I've seen accounts for powder charge. Example below that in theory could represent a 7 BC vs 7 PRC pushing same bullet at same velocity from a rifle weighing the same. Not trying to say federal is or isn't juicing the #'s but rather there is some validity to having less recoil as a biproduct of higher pressures with smaller cases.

I will say that I'm pretty psyched for this raven action! If I understand correctly nitride will come standard? Additionally how does form feel about the triggertech triggers for tikkas? I've heard good things about the KRG midas. But not much past that in terms of aftermarket options.

Yes, nitriding will be standard on both models.

Generally titanium and the cost to machine/weld/print it.
You can get $400 suppressors here to but they're steel and/or aluminum.

They have been printing Titanium suppressors in NZ for a decade (I believe Oceania Defense were the first). $1000 NZD so like $5-600USD.

These look an awful lot like to the DPT Machinists suppressors out of New Zealand that I have used extensively while shooting down there. If they are close in function to those, then we will be in for a real treat. Now those are made out of steel, can rust if not cared for, are “heavy” and have a lifespan…but they are so cheap down there. I think like $2-300 USD or something like that. So if these are titanium or something other than relatively cheap steel, I will be putting down my money tomorrow. This type of suppressor usually has great tone, good recoil pulses, and ultimately decreases overall length. Sorry for the rant, but this got me excited seeing this picture.

DPT suppressors are Aluminium and I can almost guarantee they are lighter than 95% of the US market. They do have a barrel life but semis are far less common here and you can buy replacement baffles for fairly cheap.

Fierce is another standard push feed that uses m700 pattern triggers if i'm not mistaken. Pretty sure you could discern how that would go by listening to the MRC podcast in regards to CRF and the trigger design vs anything they've said about push feed and m700 triggers.

Company QC culture would be another but its kind of hard to know exactly what that is at MRC right now. I do think @Imac45acp has represented himself/MRC well on the forums at least and that counts for something.

Their 3 lug action is/was a Sako clone (e.g. Rage lineup). Their 2 lug action is R700 clone.
