Etched reticle enough to be annoying glassing for game? I'm tempted to by the new sig 10k g2s but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Still hung up on having to sell my 12x50 ELs to justify it financially..
I’d give up a lot of glass to have rangefinder capability. Can’t speak to the vectors but I can’t go back to a hand held rangefinder.

I haven't found the reticle to be annoying, I have the dual reticle version 10x42 as I'm waiting on the extenders to ship from Euro. Glass is great, laser is sig 10k quality, had em next to a set of 12x nl pures and the NL only really showed noticeable differences on the edge clarity, center is very similar. I don't have a lot of time behind them yet, but hunting season is coming, so I'll have a solid eval in a few months.

That is the worst thing about the revic binos. Only maybe 1/2 the image is clear, right in the middle, and as you looked towards the edges it turns into a total fish bowl image.

So I deemed them dog shit for actually glassing. They are just a killing tool.

Hopefully the Vector bino isn’t as bad

Vector X is on the same glass level as my zeiss victory rf 10x42, minus some of the overly popping colors, more of a muted image. Idk, they did a fantastic job. I got them through a friend who's a reseller for Euro, at a very attractive price. For what I paid, there is nothing better. I have gen1 kilo 10k, zeiss victory RF, had Leica 3200s(non pro), have played with the swaro El range, and these Vectronix are really freaking impressive.

I’m looking into RF binos after this past FF and the last several NRL hunter matches I’ve shot. They do seem to be a large advantage. Looking at the Leica 3200 com (great price on euro optic and can find used for decent). Should I be looking elsewhere? Are the swaro EL worth the price increase?

Get the Leica pros if you can swing it. They're a solid unit.

I just noticed those the other day. They look great! Do you know about how fast the data solutions spit out on them?

I’ve got the Furry AB’s and they’re just a little too slow for my liking. Still faster then using a phone app or my phone but 4-5 seconds seems like and eternity.

In that case, the glaciality of the Leicas’ firing solution will not impress you.

Noted! That’s a relief because I wasn’t looking forward to parting with $3500. I didn’t even try to use them in the store because I was scared I would fall in love haha

That's the only downfall of the pro. I don't think it's the processor speed, but the display, it shows yardage, elevation then wind. And not in a quick manner. I think it's like 2 seconds for the yard, another fot elevation, then wind. These were a friends. Idk if you can configure the order of data displayed to get elevation first perhaps. Units with the amold display, 10k and vepctor-x, all the data populates at once in very short processing time.

I could swing it but that price difference is another out of state tag! I’m not a wealthy man by any means, just a lowly apprentice.
3200s only provide a solution to 800y I believe, dope past that they need be connected to a kestrel with elite ballistics engine, a $500+ piece of kit. The pros already have the instruments on board and elite engine. Maybe you only plan to shoot in field to 800, and have a phone based app for dope further out. There are limitations to the unit, pretty much why the pros came out 18 months after 3200s came available

Just to clarify - I think Form mentioned that he uses the Geovid Rs, NOT the Pros ...

I thought the most recent FF was great info, and I think my 6creed build turned into a 6arc build. It will be primarily for my daughter, so the extra reach of the creed doesn’t matter (or for me)

I wish 22 cals were legal here, but since they aren’t, I think the 6arc is probably the best option
