They don’t stay closed particularly wellI know that I’m in the minority, but I’ve been leaning towards the Monstrum scope caps. The rubber will split on them, but that is easily fixed/prevented by a few wraps of electrical tape. They are not as intuitive/efficient as the “both thumbs forward” on the Butler Creeks, but they are far more durable with the tape than the newest BC iteration. With just a little range time, the “caps away from the scope” opening becomes nearly as fast as the BCs.
