The Shoot2hunt Podcast

Did I hear correctly that the OG 6.5 handled a lot of 7 rem mag?

You heard correctly that the US/UM test included a careful test of 7mm Mag through the OG 6.5. They carefully checked with a bore guide before attempting it. What you may not have heard is that this is outside the intended use for the can and could go badly. That’s one of those that should come with a “don’t do this at home!” warnings.

They’re making a tent? Huh. Can’t wait for the preorder.

I am not sure what you are talking about.
I think Jake was referencing your podcast discussion with Brad from Argali when he mentioned testing some new fabrics. The patent on Dynema has ended I believe so other companies are seeing what they can make/do similar to that.

Ah.. Yes, the patent has ended, but the prices certainly are not coming down.

I do love me some Dynema.

I have a ten-second memory, so I didn't even remember talking about a tent.

It was quick, when talking about your tent Jake mentioned there are some new materials coming out that soon that could make tents exciting here soon. I’m thinking about getting the Absaroka and didn’t know if I should hold off.

On #146 Ryan mentioned a bunch of new bullets for 6mm, 6.5mm and 7mm. On #147 he never said anything about 7mm ones. Anyone he a idea what the 7mm ones will weigh?
