Anyone know what's up with CDEV so far after hours? I can't find anything online but the price is basically cut in half from what it was earlier today...

Just picked up a few shares at .76, it kept going up before I could adjust my limit buys to catch it...

Cdev dropped 40% in a heartbeat. Was getting ready to bail when I saw it but it’s battling back a bit. I’m averaged at .42 and got nervous

I'm new to the game and bailed on cdev at the drop... damn I freaked out and may have made a mistake.

Question. I use Vanguard for trading and had a stop order at .7 for CDEV. Obviously after hours the stock dropped and blew through that order. It is now up above my stop order of .7.

Did I luck out and not sell my stocks as long as CDEV opens above .7 in the morning? My account dosn't allow after hours trading and shows I have all my shares.

Looks like they missed earnings and revenue by just a smidge, and the market temporarily freaked. I don't know what this means for the longterm.

Glad I sold about 80 per cent of shares when it went above 1 today and made about 20 k so can't complain. I just picked up some after hours trading when it dropped.

CDEV just announced their earnings so guessing that's why it dropped so quickly the bargain hunters are rushing in.

If it says it’s still there and you want it I would cancel the order. Sometimes when there’s a drop like that so fast there are no takers while it’s that low. Has to be a buyer to sell

Don’t beat yourself up too much about it. That was an insane drop. I was literally watching it happen in real time. Over 200,000 shares got dumped in a matter of 3 minutes.

Ill bet CDEV goes up 20 per cent tomorrow again from around .85 where it is at now after hours.

Good call. The pennies can turn on you in a minute. Heck I’ve seen a run on one stock because it had a similar name to another hahaha. So many new people with apps, it went up like 200% in an hour until they figured out the other ticker was getting bought out lol.

Seems like anyone who got in at that momentary .60s price may be poised to make some quick cash.

I walked away from computer after trading and took dog for a walk. Missed the .60 buy in . Im going to gamble and picked up at .85. I cant believe that missing their earnings was a surprise and caused stock to drop so fast. You would have thought that was a given that they would miss earnings like almost all companies now.

Thanks for the reply. It appears no order went through. Its my understanding that they don't allow trading on their platform after hours. I'm sure this is a pretty rare situation where a stock drops below a sell order, then rises back above, all while outside of normal trading. As for now, I'm hoping to keep my shares until I can listen to the conference call, which is schedule for tomorrow morning. Hopefully they are still there in the morning!

This crazy friggin market and its siren call lol. I was done with the airline stocks for awhile until Buffet dumped his. I just had to jump back in especially on AAL. I should be out fishing or turkey hunting instead of dinking around in the market lol

Just a suggestion but fidelity is a decent trading platform and they offer off hours market trading.
