MrDayTraitorWarren Buffet announced today that Berkshire sold off all their airlines holdings this past week. 200 million on shares of Delta, Southwest, American, United, all sold. I think it will be a bad Monday for the airlines.

$CDEV Buffet lost $50 billion about 20% of all combined holdings valued about $250 billion. So with all due respect although he is one of the greatest investors of all time, it certainly doesn’t look like he played this right. in the shareholder video, he seemed visibly distressed, I feel taking a hit like that definitely dealt a toll and left a bitter feeling in his mouth regarding the market. But I think the economy will reopen as things slowly go back to normal. If virus spikes, all that we can do is increase health workers to deal with increased demand. Can’t keep the economy shut down for much longer or the US will begin to collapse. As long as the US doesn’t collapse, we’re good lol.
Wouldn't it be ironic if some of us little guys ended up with a bit of WB's kwan? After all, he's been taking others money for a lifetime. Frankly I was shocked when he (fairly recently) made a huge airllne stock buy. It seemed like a ballsy move to me. Reads like he soon after sold at a huge loss. Very un-WB-like.
The mighty WB humbled by an invisible virus. Such is life, but at least he has his life.
