Tesla is an AI company disguised as a car company. They are not a car company. Elon and Tesla will be at the forefront of the AI generation.
Its funny, 5 years ago I was chatting with an investment broker about Tesla at a Christmas Party, it was trading around the $20 mark then. He said the time to get in had passed. I didn't think so, but I didn't buy any stock. Hindsight.

I've always been intrigued by them, it seems like they are destined for big things, but I can't help but feel like I am buying at the high side. In 5 or 10 years, this might have been one of those "hindsight" moments.

Tesla has two things going against it, one a controversial CEO and two they are innovators. This means that it will always have short term volatility but I think its a pretty safe bet long term.

You are correct, it was the Elon effect I was trying to highlight.

Absolutely.. I am glad that I got over the Tesla is only an EV car company thought process years ago. It is now one of my largest holdings. Tesla will continue to rise over the long haul. I expect a few bumps with EV credits going away, his new role on DOGE and you always have to account for his Social media posts. I am a firm believer though, that Tesla will shave years off my working life and allow me to retire earlier thru their returns.

You did see they aren't selling those EV's like they used to.....and they are taking away the credits to buy an EV
I think their EV’s will account for less than 5% of their profits within the next 5-10 years. They have so much to offer outside of vehicles. I’ve been in Tesla for awhile but loaded up between 178-205 a share. It’s been great.
