The Rokslide 95 (Ruger American 😁)

IMO no.

It was mentioned in the @Stockys thread from quite a few people about a light VG stock and nothing has come of it. For any magazine platform.

I’ve been modifying my own. Far from a good solution, but better than factory for me.

I’ve also considered a Boyd’s Quest. I’m sure they would be plenty ridged, accept AR mags and cheap enough to modify if need be.
Strikes me that what is needed is a "rokstok" and pmag or ICAR or AICS compatible bottom metal. Stocks (and purchase price creep) really holding back this platform.

Are the RAR actions scaled? If so, how many sizes are there?

SA and LA. To my knowledge.

Is there something wrong with the Ruger American stocks from MDT?

For me it’s weight, trigger reach and AICS mags. I actually prefer the AR style.

Are you referring to the field stock? If so its an improvement over factory but the ergonomics are meh.

The KRG would be infinitely better and I believe they are the same price if not $100+/-.

If she likes the M70, why not (1) give it to her and buy something new for you or (2) buy her a Featherweight or your version in .223 or .243?

Btw - I love my Howa Mini 6ARC with a 20" CF barrel and the following stock. It is very handy and accurate.

Indiana requires a minimum .243 caliber for deer hunting so I bought her a Ruger American in .243.

Now this, in the hunting regulations released recently, starting this coming season "Provides that, for a hunting season beginning after June 30, 2025, ............................. a hunter may use a rifle chambered for a centerfire rifle cartridge that fires a bullet that is at least five and fifty-six hundredths (5.56) of a millimeter in diameter or larger to hunt deer." I've been wanting that rule change for some time and even contacted the DNR requesting it, Wish they would've done it before I bought the 243. With medical issues and home repairs hitting us lately I don't see any new rifles arriving to our home before this coming season, but I plan on a couple of fast twist rifles being here before next years season, either 223 Remington, 22 ARC or 6mm ARC.. I'm intrigued by the 22 and 6mm ARC rounds, but I have thousands of rounds of practice ammo for the 223/556.
