I think these companies now are coming out with too many different lines.

Agreed. Many seem like they are just adding stuff to talk the customer into buying something new vs actually providing a benefit to the consumer. I think it's short sided in the long run.I think these companies now are coming out with too many different lines.

Right on. Thanks for that, Brad.
One initial thought that may have already been mentioned...I never really see too many options for blaze orange or blaze camo in either insulating or waterproof jackets. Personally, when I sit down to glass, I like to throw on down puffy for a while. But in order to stay 'compliant' in most states that I hunt in, I have to first remove my orange vest, then put it over my outermost layer. It's a bit of a pain and that makes for a lot more movement when I'm trying to be stealthy.
Additional fabric could also be a great way to reinforce wear points (elbows) and soak-through areas (shoulders) as well.
I see this design more often in upland jackets which are much too heavy for the backcountry and European brands which are way too spendy to bring stateside.
I've actually been chatting with our local gear repair shop about adding about 300 sq inches of blaze orange ripstop nylon to my Sitka Kelvin for this very reason.
Just a thought!
