The All New MRC/S2H Marshall Rifle Now Available

I don't think those markings are moving because the receiver is elongating, the axial load and temp are not high enough for creep to be a concern in steel. More likely, the threads are getting smoothed out a bit on the barrel tennon, allowing you to get more travel for the same torque.

I wanted to know if the integral rail had 20 MOA.
I’ve never seen one that wasn’t but since it was never mentioned, I sent an email asking about it.
The response from MRC was that the integral rail is 0 MOA.

Only reason I can think of for not having 20 MOA built in is that many of their customers may be using basic 1” 3-9 scopes that don’t have enough internal adjustment?

Just an FYI if most people are like me and assumed the rail would be 20 MOA

I keep being told “I’ve never”, and yet every single time people show up with them, failures happen. First day of class this week- a BAT had a failure to feed on round 2, and a failure to eject on round 18. The shooter cleared the case very quickly, but it still did it. We had them leave the bolt back, and ejection port up while it was snowing. One guy didn’t know or blow out any of the snow in the action (it was nearly full), and chambered it. That compressed the snow and made it basically ice in the lug area. Took a bit of smacking the bolt handle to get it to close in a chambered round, but we got it.

Shooting in this today, it took all of the 1st round to get a case that had to have the bolt banged open to extract, and then round number 2 to get a failure to fire due freezing in an R700

To be fair it did get a little bit of snow on it two days ago (like all the other rifles), got brushed off then set in the enclosed trailer. None of the Tikkas today or yesterday have had failures, nor has the MRC’s had any feed/function issues.

Oh... you're gonna tell us. You won't be able to help yourself. HAHA!
I swear to god. What are the odds. One week after talking shit about “never having an issue” with light strikes or stuck triggers hahahahaha.

Out doing some positional shooting with the 22CM this weekend. Light strike and no fire. Was fine before and fine after. Not sure what to chalk it up to, but it happened 🫠. Damn Bix N Andy lol
