I didn’t know they moved to Utah. Where at?They did move to Utah, but I still chose to use them since I have had good luck in the past.
@wy_will - is your thumbs up a "yes" to my question or just that you like my post? Was it noted recently on an S2H podcast that the 6UM is performing better with a 1:7 rather than a 1:7.5 twist?
If so, what was the criteria around that? Was it for both the UM30 and UM40 versions, only for DTAKs, etc? @Ryan Avery
I don’t get how this is true when Ryan is in this very thread talking about blowing up a can with a 1-7 twist. I guess I would need to hear the full context.@wy_will - is your thumbs up a "yes" to my question or just that you like my post?
I dont listen to every episode but i sure wouldn't spec a 7 twist for a UM and kind of doubt Avery would. Maybe if you're going really short it wouldn't be much of a problem. Was it noted recently on an S2H podcast that the 6UM is performing better with a 1:7 rather than a 1:7.5 twist?

I just liked your question. I have barrels on order and I went with 1:7.5, but it might not be too late for me to change to 1:7 if that is working better.@wy_will - is your thumbs up a "yes" to my question or just that you like my post?
I certainly could have mis-heard. Not trying to start anything and was only looking for clarification.I dont listen to every episode but i sure wouldn't spec a 7 twist for a UM and kind of doubt Avery would. Maybe if you're going really short it wouldn't be much of a problem.
