What are these trucks ACTUALLY going for these days? 09 4 cyl 5 speed, 193k, Fox shocks and I've got a matching ARE shell for it. It's not cherry but it's not clapped either.

Sold my '05 access cab with canopy a couple years ago for $13k. 150k miles and in great shape. Kbb value at the time was around $8k. Depending on your location I agree with the $8-$10k range.

I’d pay about $1500 give or take after a test drive for that. If you can get some sucker to pay more than more power to ya. The used market is what someone will pay.

A set of tires can easily cost $1500, a good running four wheel drive is worth considerably more. I'd like to know where all the $1500 2nd Gen Tacomas are, I'd buy 5 of them and drive em for the next 20 years.
He’s not saying that’s what it’s worth in the market just what it’s worth to him with so many miles. Many Tacoma fanatics would pay way more then most others, just have to find the right buyer.

Ya, given that it's a regular cab.......I wouldn't even be able to get in it, let alone drive it. So value is $0 to me. Value is relative. You just have to find the right buyer. I still keep getting random people coming up to me wanting to buy my 35 year old Toyota xtracab. I've turned down $10k many times over the last 5 or so years. Of course I've also seen a couple of these listed online for $40k. SMH

Looks like it might have a fair bit of rust judging from the front end. Guessing they salt the roads where that truck lives.

Hard to say, but rust free it would probably be 8-10k around SW Washington.

If it were me. I'd bring it into a dealership to have them check the frame for rust damage. I've heard of them helping owners past the extended warranty they gave. If they replace it then it would increase the value.

Given that, I bought a 07 extended cab 4x4 with 50k miles in 2020 for $13k and thought that was overpaying.

If the frame checks out I'd say $8-10k.

If you were in Boise today, what you paid in 2020 would be a good price for an 07 extended cab 4X4 Tacoma with 50K.

I picked up an 02 double cab 4x4 short bed with shell, 170 thousand miles for 8k about a year ago. It was a great price.

I didn't know 2nd Gen had the rust problems. I thought it was 1st gen that they warrantied the frame?

Think it was redesigned in 2012 to eliminate the pocket that holds water in the frame near the front of the cab. I'm not 100% as it's been a few years since I really looked into them. I definitely looked at some 2nd gen trucks with frame replaced.
