My money is on perpetual backorders remain for the "old" models and the launch of the new reticle w/zero stop models.

I can't see a company contacting all of the back orders people while trying to launch a BFCM sale. The only feasible way I can come up with is that if a supply 3X+ larger than the dozens/hundreds/thousands of now backordered scopes was in their warehouse, and they just electronically set aside the BO quanties plus 5%

I bet they will sell a bunch. Especially if they keep their pricing point.

They have a reputation for making scopes that work well as aiming devices without the frills. If they address a few modern points - like zero stop or capped windage options they will gain a bunch of customers who otherwise would have bought somewhere else.

That's a little bit of a wildcard because they have always said they would contact BOs to see if they still wanted it, and then get payment. I know the card I used when ordering expired a long time ago. They seem to be a standup company, but it has crossed my mind that all BOs get cancelled because that model has been replaced with a new model.

And when they updated the website it became impossible to see if your backorder was still there. I called and got confirmation that it was, but it's been a crazy long time.

Same here, hanging onto those emails.

However, none of us paid anything, so I don't know what ground any of us have to stand on that isn't principals or ethics.

Hmmm, no 3x9s and those turrets have the viagra effect going on!

Interested in seeing how well they perform in the the RS tests.

How can they redesign a scope, and still get it so wrong? It kind of reminds me of that show “punked”. Everyone asks for slim turrets, and they make them longer? Wtf?

No 6x and no 3-9, they answered the capped windage want by making ridiculously long/tall modular turrets. No change in reticles. The 3-9 has a special place in my heart as it took the elk in my avatar, but this is disappointing to say the least. We got zero stops but the other “changes” are steps backward. Dammit.
