I am prepared to watch other's be disappointed.

SWFA has totally lost my trust for sure. It would take a lot for me to purchase something from them again to use on a rifle I actually hunt with knowing that it may end up virtually irreplaceable if damaged.

They will sell plenty of scopes when they have them. They’re getting all kinds of publicity here and elsewhere.

My money is on perpetual backorders remain for the "old" models and the launch of the new reticle w/zero stop models.

I can't see a company contacting all of the back orders people while trying to launch a BFCM sale. The only feasible way I can come up with is that if a supply 3X+ larger than the dozens/hundreds/thousands of now backordered scopes was in their warehouse, and they just electronically set aside the BO quanties plus 5%

I bet they will sell a bunch. Especially if they keep their pricing point.

They have a reputation for making scopes that work well as aiming devices without the frills. If they address a few modern points - like zero stop or capped windage options they will gain a bunch of customers who otherwise would have bought somewhere else.
