Will never know what happened out there, buy it sounds like he didn't have experience enough to try what he was attempting. Such is life.

I believe this takes the cake for irony, and special mention on the Darwin Awards.

Poor kid. I won’t get too judgy because I can think of a number of times as a young man when I narrowly avoided a Darwin Award myself.

It is sad. A young man lost his life but was doing what he enjoyed. He miscalculated his abilities or fell (the broken nose) and could not self evacuate. We all took chances and survived similar incidents whether it be hiking, driving cars too fast, or any number of adrenalin inducing hobbies. My vice was motorcycles, both MX and crotch rockets. RIP.
