Sitting in Denver killing a few hrs between flights and I can only stare at this screen for so long so I watch the masses go by...dear God we are doomed as a species I think...walked past a gate boarding for Portland...WOW is all I can say.
So what's your take?
Ive seen some pretty unique specimens in the bigger airports Ive been in, but Ive certainly not hit them all. Also seen some exceptionally troubling examples at various Walmarts throughout the country. I think Walmart has got the upper hand in both quality(?) and density.
What airport has the most loonies in your experience?
Is there a "People of Airports" page somewhere like what they have/had for Wally world?
Should I start one?
Its definitely interesting to watch the differences from gate to gate based on destination...
I need to take a nap, its been a long couple days😵‍💫🤣...really hoping not to be stuck between two Samoans on this next flight...I hate airports.

I enjoy airport people watching. Everyone has a story. With social media folks don’t talk as much as they used to, but you never know is someone is a CEO or unemployed, happy to be traveling, or it’s a chore like surviving rush hour traffic. I make up their stories until told differently. 🙂

When you could still get through security without a boarding pass when picking up my wife, I would purposefully go a little early and have a couple beers just to watch people.

Portland, Seattle, San Fransisco are my top 3.

Vegas is a also a good one…

Hard to beat what you see setting on the bench at Walmart. Gave it a go the third day after I retired. Only had to set there for 2 hours, to know this country is in trouble.

Only in the US. I travel a a lot Internationally, it’s almost sad when you come back and see the shape of the people…… think purple guy McDonald’s.

People watching in the Airport is WAAAAAAY mo-betta than Wally World. People also pack the most random stuff. I used to be a baggage handler when I was in college. People's inability to pack a suitcase is borderling sad. Baggage does not get the white glove treatment. Its tossed, shoved, squished, football tackled, and dropped(upwards of 10ft drops). If your bag is stuffed to the gills, don't get butthurt when it arrives at your destination looking like a ball of tape and you're missing an item or two

I've been in and out of Bozeman twice now.

I enjoy watching the folks wandering around with bear spray in their hand like its a cup of Starbucks coffee and are asking everyone that works at the airport where they can deposit it.

I just had the pleasure of flying through Cleveland airport, what a joy that was.... The obesity issue in the US is absolutely alarming.

Same.

Also half the reason I drink beer at airport bars is to talk to the other people there.
