Definitely not material, as I had a few other guys I currently use build sets out of Fury with no issues. For 5 sets all to be bad was enough for me to say no more.
Serving separation was cables and center serving area. The guy I service in Hawaii, his peep rotated 180* and he is a repeat customer that never saw that from any other sets in the past. I just don't have issues with serving separation, even on your sharp turns on cables and certain cams.

Low wax 452x is the best in regards to serving staying tight over the long haul.

Peep rotation is plane and simple bad lay up and their's no excuse for that, lay your strands out with at least some degree of equal tension and you won't get peep rotation period.

I don't really see it a secret on center serving. There are quite a few builders that don't have issues in this area. Peep rotation can also be caused when you have uneven tension on serving. Say your ends were served at a different tension rate as your center serving, this can cause peep rotation. Some times when you see this you can add a few more twist to the overall aim string to fix it.
Some materials are just more friendly to peep rotation during the lay up process and why quite a few pick a certain string material over another. It's not that quality is lacking it's the builder building with a certain material that is lacking in their knowledge of a given string material.
They all have their different characteristics that need to be accounted for

I have not had any experience with the Fury material. What do you see as an advantage as well as disadvantage over BCY materials?

I like hogwire strings. And fury material. I've been running fury for years! It is a great material! Very stable with good speed

In reguards to your comments about end serving vs end serving tension causing peep rotation in my experience is not true. I usually end serve around 8lbs which is quite commen in string building. Center serving ??? LOL. you wouldn't want to watch me do that. The little secret I mentioned, I serve about as tight as I can get it along with some other things I do, no glue used either. I'm not the only builder whu does this either. This is not to disagree with you either as I highly respect your tuning and shooting ability's just telling how a number of us do it and it works, ---- no peep rotation---.

I have used it for a couple years now but back to 452X. I actually don't see any advantage over 452X. Over the limbs no haul I still find 452X more stable with less movement.

my last two sets have been from catfish, both in fury, and i've had no serving separation issues but i'll keep a close eye on them. for the price, and considering his turn around time, it wouldn't even bother me if i had to restring my bows every year.

There a few other string builders that do that too and i'le pat them on the back for it too. Given a choice between putting out a sub par string vs. a quality one they chose to prefer quality over quanity.

I used 60x for my first set. Constant rotation and they only lasted about 6 months of light shooting before they were fraying. I contacted them and basically they said "oh well." Never again.

^^Yeah....I got a set of strings from them that were like rope they had so many strands....detuned my bow something fierce turned it into a slug. They seem mass produced. I swapped them after 2 days......
