A little black Friday shopping for myself put me in possession of a Pure Precision Skeleton action, Manners PH stock, TT trigger, and bottom metal.

Action is a long action, standard bolt face.

I was kicking around have a 280 AI built. I have a couple of 300's and 6.5's, so there is a hole to fill

Looking for it to be more of a medium distance (600-800), reasonable light (7lbs w/o optic)

Thoughts/Suggestions?

Build a 280 ai if you like it, sweet cartridge shooting the 168 class bullets. It’s hammered elk for a buddy, and is his favorite rifle. But, you have a big hole in smaller class bullets, lol.
