I know a couple of folks have the Stocky's VG, but is anyone using the M50? I like a fairly closed grip with a palm swell, but not a big fan of the straight verticals. Looking at these as a possibility for an inbound Bergara Highlander if I find the stock isn't "just right". Primarily hunting/spot and stalk, but with some long range plinking and steel. Definitely NOT competition or a dedicated bench rifle.

Any updates on this? Did you order or try one? I ordered on and for the money my first impression is they will be a good stock. Once the rest of my parts show up and I can start shooting and playing around with it may change my mind but I doubt it. I also ordered to the long range sporter as well for something a little lighter to pack in.

I did, very pleased with it, although I am probably still going to change it out for a McMillan Hunter, as more of a stalking type stock than long range. The M50 is extremely comfortable to get behind, very stable for long range. I picked up a McMillan Hunter for my 280ai, and after shooting it a bit more, I'll make a decision on the M50. Mine is one of the original all carbon runs done in conjunction with the guys at AG.
