I’ll never buy into it until there’s a dead one on a tailgate.

Won't believe it until one is down...
Interesting enough, what kind of animal makes a sound that resembles a billy club hitting a big tree? Right before sundown in Medicine Bow NF, I'd hear random thunks like that and they'd be within 2-300 yards of one another.
Who buries all the Sasquatches that die in the woods?
I remember bear hunting one year and finding a ring of trees that were snapped off. like big trees 8" DBH all in a circle. it was weird. no explanation...
Yeah, hang a tag on one.
There are many reports of hunters who've encountered a sasquatch including those hunters in a tree stand. Obviously, a body on a slab ends the discussion but let's remember there are mystical creatures that have only been recently proved to exist.
For years, there were stories of a massive monkey that hunted and killed lions and leopards and howled at the moon. Sure enough, the Bili ape was first seen in 2003 and it is a 5-6'+ ape. Massive, strong and a skilled hunter. That's only 15 years ago!
Chimpanzees are real, right? No chimpanzee fossilized remains were found until the Fall of 2004 when Dr Nina Jablonski found a few teeth in the Rift Valley of Africa. There should be hundreds of millions of remains of chimps, right?
Things are out there we can't always explain. Hundreds of Native American tribes across North America have spoken of sasquatches and did so at a time when they were isolated with no opportunity to talk with each other.
As far back as 1603, Samuel de Champlain presented accounts of "Gougou" encounters (sasquatch) as reported to him by Native Americans.
Are they real? I wouldn't be so quick to discount them.
