Hey fellas, any long term reports on your Predators regardless of caliber?

If there has been issues chronic or one, what have they been?

And to anyone's experience with multiple Predators; have you noticed any difference between current action and one that was produced a few years back?

Has the riflesmith that assembled your rifle(s) needed to fine tune the action before assembly? If so, what work was done?

I am trying to justify cost vs benefit compared to other more expensive actions available considering I dont shoot comps and around 40-60 rounds a year.

Thanks!

I've done a couple stillers and my brother has done probably 15 or so with no issues. The bolt isn't as silky smooth as some of the more expensive actions but if you're only shooting 40-60 rounds a year I wouldn't worry about it. And to be perfectly honest, with the amount you're going to shoot it I would save a few hundred bucks and just run with a plain rem 700 or tikka action and not even true it up. If you have a competent smith throw a good tube on it, it'll shoot one hole groups
