Any chance you were archery hunting from horseback on your hunt? I had quite the experience with Tag n Drag on my cow bison hunt and it was not enjoyable.
The dragging/gutting part is fine, worth paying for.

I was rifle hunting from horseback both times. There were 4 of us on the cow elk hunt and my sister’s horse wasn’t the best (stumbled a lot) but other than that, we were all happy with their services.

If you want to drive 3.5 hrs to dillon mt i'll lend you a rifle. Not sure how long you expect to be waiting for yours.
