Small dirt bike 70- 80 cc or E-bike

I took. Kawasaki KLX 230r 4 stroke this year on a high country mule deer hunt, I was extremely disappointed with the power but we were over 12,000 ft and I think the altitude played a big part in that. I think changing the sprockets to gear it down would help a bunch! We hunted next to a guy that was built about the same as you and he had a little souped up 100 cc bike, but it would really run and he got along good and if he got to a tight spot he could actually pick it up and put it up on a ledge if he needed to
There was also a guy in a Vectra e- dirt bike and that thing was pretty awesome. Light and crazy power

I have two Kaabo Wolf King GT scooters. Ironically, Oregon doesn't classify them as either ebikes or motorcycles, so they are their own entity, which skirts many of the Ebike/Motorcycle regulations.

I’ve used a crf250f and I still was bang pegs on rocks and struggling a bit with my pack touching my balance off.

But depends on how far back you wanna get. If not going far is would lean torwards electrical as it’s quiet, less smell, has plenty of torque during slow speed, and no loss of power at elevation. If you are going more than a few miles I would go gas especially if you need to make multiple trip to haul meat out. Having extra gas at the truck is way easier than trying to charge.

Hello all, after going up some very crappy old logging roads to get to where I get into wilderness areas to backpack hunt I started thinking about getting somthing like a small dirt bike or E bike to keep from beating the $hit out of my truck . Im a small frame guy at 5'7" 160 lbs so with a pack lets say 200-220 at the very most. Any suggestions ? Or experiences ? Thank you in advance. Jason
I would go with a dirt bike, you may have to up to the cc's a little but many brands offer "big wheel" versions of their lower cc models. The E-Bikes have their advantages but they lean more toward short rides favoring silence versus traveling significant distance.
