Silencerco Scythe TI review

OCL is doing their 1/2x28 hub DT for 30 bucks until they run out of them. Titanium.
$&@* I was supposed to be done buying things, but that is too good to pass up.
Anyone have a weight on the competition (sico ti 1/2 28")?
*and thanks!
OCL says 0.9 oz on theirs. My 5/8-24 direct thread that came with my Scythe is right at an ounce. So, 3-4 grams difference.

I picked up my Scythe TI a few weeks ago and have about 30 rounds through it. I'm loving it so far and recoil reduction is noticeable. I'm considering a Scythe STM for more versatility and figured that could be a good candidate for the recoilxbrake

I've put probably 300 rounds through a Scythe-Ti with the recoilX brake. It works great. Big difference VS the included brake cap, and the anchor brake. Fair bit louder thou. It's perfect for a match rifle.

Any thoughts on comparison vs Nomad XC with a recoilX? Similar but louder?

I dunno if it's my eyes or what but I swear the one on the right has a much wider outer diameter. I guess the thinner walls may be tricking me but I can't make it the same.
Yeah, it certainly looks that way in the picture, but the one on the right threaded on perfectly, so just the picture.

I promised a shooting buddy I would do this and finally got around to it.

The factory provided end cap doesnt sound much different than the accessory product end cap with a 556 sized hole.

The recoil pulse on the 556 end cap is floppy and pushes the barrel around in an arc.

The recoil pulse on the factory end cap feels straight back.

I put the factory cap back on the second suppressor and perceive no compelling reason for anyone considering this mod to purchase an alternate cap.

My observations were made with hot 22-250 reloads fired thru a 19" barrel.

How do you like those covers? I just ordered one because the other one I have is pretty heavy and bulky

Use just enough oil on the can to get it sleeved in there.

I over did it on the first one and just did a little shot of rem oil on the end for the one I was messing with today.
The rem oil will bond to the scythe, then create additional welding thus keeping them from blowing off at the 2nd baffle lol
