Just my .02 but maybe I should have them on for a podcast episode... they carry the bigger brands and could compare. Good thought

I've only ridden in 2 of these; an older Honda and older Yamaha Rhino 600-ish.

My $.02; I didn't like either. We spent some time in my buddies 10 yr old Rhino and it was LOUD- sounded like a rattle trap and the dust and exhaust swirling in from below/behind was terrible. Then the power at 11,000' was mediocre.

If I was buying one of these I would look for;
Quiet
Smooth
Undercarriage sealed somewhat to keep the cab section live-able

A side by side is on my list, been researching it for years and spent quite a bit of time in them in Alaska. The two that are at the top of my list are the Kawasaki Teryx 4 and the Yamaha Wolverine X4. I have 3 friends still up in AK who are running the Teryx 2s. They beat the tar out of them and the places we got in and out was a machine tester... There is a place here in ID that lets you rent the Teryx 4, I think I want to do that and see how I like it before throwing some $$$ out there.... Your challenge is the $10k... Once you get one all the "add ons" add up fast! : )
