Being at a Disadvantage without a SxS

ill give you the disadvantage scenario. I did a out of state hunt for me at least. I had hunted the area before. The area had old logging roads that where gated and signed the first year I went. Made for good hunting maybe a mile in on the road, then into the timber. Went back a few years later the logging road was opened up for 50" atv use. Halfway in multiple quads go by me on foot. Will never go back with out a quad/sxs now.

I enjoy reading everyone's opinions. Thanks for contributing.

I've owned and still have a quad. Have had it for about 10yrs now. I wouldn't even consider a SxS except for the fact that I'm the only one who has one. Now that my son is getting more into hunting, it would be optimal to have a SxS. It would be nice to have a SxS also during family camping trips so we can all go together.

Still, not worth the money for me with how much I'd use a SxS, having to deal with storage, and transportation to various parts of the state. Guess I'll be sticking to my quad for solo hunting trips out east and keep with the F350 for family hunts.

SxS too much money for my use. Purchased an ATV this year. I used it scouting in July and it was the most productive scouting trip of my life. I did in one day what would have taken me 2-3 days on foot. I love it. I won't use it hunting, or rarely, b/c I hunt back in a ways away from roads. I'll use it Turkey hunting, bird hunting, ice fishing, scouting, camping/recreation. So far I'm very happy. Took me 10+ years to finally get one. LOL.

But scouting was amazing. Checking out potential camp spots, glassing locations, access points, points of interest from e-scouting, etc. Well worth it IMO.
