Here’s my tikka 22-250 1:8 factory barrel and two 10 round groups this morning. Both groups were shot fairly rapid with no breaks between.

Haven’t found too much data on this combo so here’s mine: staball was a charge weight of 37.8 grains and the Varget was 33 grains. Got no pressure so I’ll probably go up on both from there. Both shooting 73 eldm, 1x fired hornady brass, with a Winchester primer. Bullet was seated a the hornady recommendation of 2.940. Both produced average velocitys in the 3100 range. Slight crosswind of 8-10 mph.

The staball 6.5 group was first group and had a es of approximately 70fps.

The varget group had an ES in the lower 20’s and is definitely minute of kill, IMO. Also the bullet by itself in the bottom right of the varget group was 100% me pulling the shot. I’m still counting it as part of the group though.

I’m going to stick with Varget unless staball gets its shit together with a higher charge weight. That’s a 9mm round for scale

108 ELDM from a 17 inch factory T3x lite barrel with a AB Raptor 8 muffler. MV was 2826, but I had slight pressure signs (42 gr H4350). 41 gr of H4350 got me 2764 with no pressure signs. But, I only loaded 5, so no 10 round group. Edit: On second thought, the first 5 rounds had no pressure signs, it started raining and the second 5 got wet and all had slight ejector marks, so I think it was false pressure signs. End Edit

The group below is more reflective of my baseline shooting ability (prone, over a pack, with a contractor trash back laid out to keep the dust off).

45 gr of H4831sc (I labeled the group wrong as using the app to analyze this group was an afterthought as I new I would not be using the load due to velocity/pressure, ignore that), this got me 2721 fps and mild pressure signs.

I’ve never used the Hornady App, but is there something goofy here with the Group size value in MRAD’s? The inch value makes sense, but the conversion to MRADS looks like it thinks the inch measurement is at 450yards (ish).
Or I’m losing my mind… I suppose either possibility shouldn’t be ruled out haha

Every time I see good shooting short 6 creeds like this though, the urge to lighten my wallet again grows.

I think the MRAD conversion is goofy. 0.88 inch should com out to 0.22 MRAD. Distance to target is set at 100 yards.

I wonder if the MRADs is something like zero angle? When I switch the app over to MOA it is giving me 0.38 MOA.

5 rounds prone. Then 5 shots done 1 at a time on a 10 second timer. Started standing and dropped into prone. Most shots broke with 1-2 seconds left on the timer. Tikka .223 with ADI factory 55gr Blitz

Upper right is a pressure test with another rifle.

Excited to post here with a lefty 223 Tikka. Picked it up from my FFL this week and took it to the range this morning I Went to staple a fresh target and just barely missed being struck by a rattlesnake. Needless to say my hear rate was pretty high for awhile. First 10 shot group with Black Hills 77gr. TMK. This will work for me!

I have over 1100 rounds on my 223 CTR and she's still shooting well (so probably just considered broken in haha). I'll have to try another 10 round group again and post it up.

I recently picked up a T3X Super Lite in .223 Rem. Topped it with Sportsmatch and borrowed SWFA 6x and started shooting up a bunch of random ammo I had on hand, mostly cheap 55gr fmj. The results were less than impressive, groups ran from 2-4”.
I’m just getting started reloading so I’m now entering this huge learning curve.
I took off the SWFA and replaced with a new RS1.2 so needed to zero and test two loads. A previous ladder of Leverrevolution from 24.5-26 with 73gr ELDMs produced better but not great results.
So I loaded 15 each of Lever @24gr and Varget@22gr. I’m happy with the results. I have Lever on hand and will load up a bunch and run with it.
In the photo…I shot Lever top left then Varget top right. Adjusted up .1 mil and right.1 mil then shot the groups below. I will shoot again before deciding whether I need another .1 both ways.
I should add this was virgin brass, not sure if that makes a difference.

Zeroed my rifle this morning. Deer season opens next week here.

Tikka 6.5CM 18" shooting factory 140 ELDM load at 2490.

10-shot group at 100 yards (right dot). Adjusted down .25, right .25, then one shot to confirm (center). Then 6 shots at 490 yards to confirm my drops (green target).

10 rounds out of my 20” 6cm barrel. Haven’t zeroed the scope out as this is on a WTO switchlug setup and I’m running a press test/group test on two different barrels simultaneously. Plus it’s going in a Rokstok hopefully next week and then I’ll zero everything out.
