Show me them tipis

The biggest issue there Bruce is not having any guy outs mid way up the panels. Mids handle wind very well if they’re made so you can stake them out properly.

Thanks AK TB. At the end of this season I had the local shop add mid-panel guy-outs...just haven't had a chance to try it since.

Spent 9 nights in the Oware 11x11 chasing caribou, lots of room for 3 and gear....

SO 6 man. Have had this for 2 years now and will never camp in any other tent again! Going to order a SO Redcliff soon.

you took me a little too literal there huntsman22...….
I meant I am pretty stoked about SO tents and love them for the versatility.
I have a Big Agnes Copper Spur one for when I need self standing tent.....but the tipi style tents are legit!

I'm still trying to figure out why a man needs a SO 6 and a redcliff!

Haha that borrowed tipi has some good juju for sure. I've slept in it on two trips, first one we got a bison and the second we got a moose.

No cool northern lights for this shot, just an EPIC gravel bar for bison hunting.

How about pictures of your bison and moose too?

I just ordered the Seek Outside 4-man Tipi with a large stove today.

I’ll be using it either solo or with my Son, so hope I’ll have plenty of room when solo.

Can’t wait to get it and try it out!

Not a tipi but a mid, MLD supermid. I did a crappy job taking pics of it this season.

Think I’m going to have to order one of the custom Teton shelters that are similar to the sawtooth for a 2+ person hot shelter one of these days.

That's a great combo...6man and silvertip. Your "pipe" looks to be on the short side though. #nohomo

I have the SO 4 man and the large stove and its really nice by yourself. When its storming and you have backpacks, wood and two people its still has enough room to keep you comfortable, and its very packable.

Lately I have been debating weather to sell my 4 man and get a 6 man for the times I am closer to the road/truck but still small enough to pack it in 4 to 8 miles, and a silvertip for the really long trips. I do love my 4 man though.
