Have enjoyed this thread and realized I don’t know s#@t about watches. I have a Tag, Apple Watch and just picked up this EcoDrive as a result of the thread. I intend to wear the Citizen daily and Tag for dress up.
I like the look of a "field watch" as much as anybody, but as someone who works "in the field" I can't find anything better than this. One of my coworkers wears one that he bought in 1987. It's on its second battery.
It looks good with most outfits/uniforms. It looks more professional than most other digital watches. It's cheap enough that I won't be crushed when it eventually gets tree marking paint on it or gets scratched up badly.
My Timex Ironman is a little more accurate but is a little too sporty-looking for my tastes.
If I worked indoors all day I'd go with something different. In the $200 range, I've always admired the cheap Seiko automatics and some of the Citizen Eco-Drives.

I don't have personal ownership experience, but the ones I've seen look great and I've heard nothing but good things about the Tissot PRXs from owners.I didn’t see tissot mentioned at all. I’ve been looking at their prx line, any feedback on those?
