How much room do you need in that third row? I'd also throw the Lexus models including the GX and LX out for consideration. They are generally really well maintained.

I wouldn't personally buy a Nissan for a long term vehicle over a Toyota or Lexus. YMMV.

We loved our lx570, great rig. Towed like a dream with the air suspension and was a great rig.

I've got a 07 sequoia. It's good. Wasn't treated well but had a friend look it over and apparently he is blind and a little retarded. Ive put another $4k into suspension, front end rebuild and just some general maintenance. Drives decent and the roominess is awesome for hauling the kids, gear and dog. My friends have an Armada and it seems like a pos though they are not good about upkeep and maintenance. I'd find one with records of maintenance in your price range and not think too much. The armada seems a bit more cheap to me (plastic everything).

My wife drives a Nissan and it’s the hardest vehicle I’ve ever had to work on. Hope your water pump never needs to be replaced.

Sequoia hands down, the 4.7 v8 and drivetrain are bomb proof, only con is the timing belt every 90k.
